ABOUT US
Active Help Organization incorporated as a non-Profit voluntary Organization, working for community development through Human Rights, with special emphasis on marginalized people and women at grassroots level in Province Punjab Pakistan.
The organization founded in 2003 by a group of dedicated social workers. It is voluntary organization registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860. Active Help Organization is a NGO has been working on different issues such as Human Rights , Women Development, Youth Development, Career Guidance, Primary Health Care, Sexuality, Reproductive Health, Family Planning, Harm Reduction and Drugs Control, TB, Hepatitis, STIs, HIV & AIDS and climate change etc. since 2003.
The focus of AHO is on community development through the participation of its own people. The role of AHO is strengthening and empowering the communities to perceive their own problems/needs, and to solve them through collective action and participation. AHO advocates for gender equality and empowerment as integral to mitigating and adapting to climate change, and achieving sustainable, environmentally sound development.AHO currently has targeted the pre-urban areas Lahore, Kasur, Sahiwal,Sargodha, and Okara.

Prevention of HIV/AIDS among Key Populations
A targeted outreach effort providing awareness-raising and service delivery among FSWs/TGs/MSMs, aiming to reduce transmission risks and improve health outcomes.

A continuing project under the “OneImpact CLM for Community Leadership” model, dedicated to enhancing community-led responses to tuberculosis across Pakistan.

Elimination of Child & Bonded Labor (Completed)
A government-supported integrated project executed by AHO with a funding of PKR 2 million, focused on tackling child labor and bonded labor. This project has since been completed.
